Lucca Comics and Games – Day 5
From November 1 through the 5th, over 300,000 people pour into the tiny walled city of Lucca to participate in Lucca Comics and Games, which started in the 1950s. Thousands of people line the streets and stand on Lucca’s fable wall to pose in spectacular costume. It is the largest such event in Europe and the second largest in the world. Each day, I will post pics from the event. In return I would like ask you to post my site onto your social networks and tell your friends to sign up at www.welovelucca.com. You will be greatly helping me in my effort to find a good literary agent for my new book, Becoming Italian: How to Butcher a Beautiful Language, Fall in Love, and Stay Young. I promise you that I will be very grateful. In the meantime enjoy these pics from Day 5, the final day of Lucca Comics and Games.
Due to the addition of these five Lucca Comics and Games posts I have moved the IRE Verb post, originally scheduled for today, to next week, November 13, 2017. So, you have a week to relax before we tackle another set of i verbi.
Ciao amici, Roberto
